Ok, there's this girl that Cody works with who tried to invite him to a hotel during his first week of work, even though she knew he was married. We went out with her & her boyfriend for lunch today because she needed a ride (it sort of morphed into eating out at the same time),and now we have a double-date tomorrow morning (5:30 a.m.) to go fishing.
I don't know how to respond to this. She's not a bad person, and neither is her boyfriend, but do I honestly want Cody to have a relationship with that kind of person? It's not really my decision to make - hey, he can see her as much as he wants, it's his life - but I'm worried that it wouldn't be a healthy relationship.
Am I being paranoid and jealous? Or cautious and realistic?

Hmm, k, at work the other day, my boss called me into her office to have a talk. Someone had written an official letter of complaint about my "rudeness".
It almost made me start bawling!! I've never been rude in my life!! (Well, not on purpose anyway). But I guess I have bad phone mannerisms that I never knew about. I felt bummed that whole day, feeling incompotent and insufficient.

Buuuut that's over now, life goes on. I'm trying my darndest to improve my phone voice and use less slang, and use more phrases that can't be interpreted wrongly.

Baked some muffins today. Yum!! Also baked 2 pumpkin pies yesterday. I think we're going to get fat... but oh, what a wonderful way to go!!

Go me!!

Ok, I've had a job for a few weeks now -- the best job ever. I'm working at the Trails West Motor Inn in Brandon. I'm not only Front Desk, but I also do some waitressing in their Restaurant. Just today she also had me helping out the Housekeeping (since they were behind). I am so talented :)

Sarah just switched jobs again - she's working at San Francisco now. Can't judge her for job-hopping, since I did the same thing when I first moved to Brandon. She's getting kicked out of her apartment TODAY though, because they need it, so I've been frantically phoning around, trying to find a place for her for this month. What a bummer -- apartment complexes don't usually accept people for a temporary (ie. one-month) basis. This'll be hard.
